Was Soso Soberekon Really Fired?

Following the infamous Skiibii PR stunt in August, 5 Star Music sent label manager Soso Soberekon packing but it appears there is a twist to that story.



On Friday, August 14 2015 the media was awash with the story of a young Nigerian artiste who had reportedly slumped and died.

The label’s manager was fired afterwards for misinforming the public.

Skiibii, as well as other label artistes KCee and Harrysong, also went on a media tour in a bid to clarify certain controversies that arose from the event.

However, in a new picture obtained from Soberekon’s Instagram on Thursday, Ocotober 29, he is seen wining and dining with Kcee, and Nollywood actor Mike Ezuruonye.

Judging by this, it appears the entire show of apology was a charade and nothing more.

On Wednesday, October 28, Soberekon had posted a picture of himself with Harrysong. He captioned it: “Transgender in the making Caitlyn Harry @iamharrysong lol.”
